Sam listened to the girl talk. She nodded in agreement with Chace. She didn't need to apologize. No ever should have to apologize for something like that. She raised an eyebrow at the reaction from the girl just because Chace had touched her. Crushes. She never understood them. Sometimes she felt like she never felt love at all. Too much alone time. That was her excuse.
Sam stood up along with jamilia. She patted her shoulder affectionately. If you need to talk I'm willing to listen. She whispered and a small smile appeared on her lips. She would listen not talk because she had no experience when it came to grievance talks. Well, we should get going. Grab your bags. Sam said and turned to Dream. She took his reins and waited for them to get ready.

Chase briefly glanced at Sam before his eyes were on the younger girl. He picked up his bags, then said "Here, I'll get them." as she bent down to grab hers. He flashed her his crooked smile, then draped her bags over his shoulders. Though they were heavy, he didn't mind. He had always done weight training - he used to play a lot of football.

"Thank you... you're being very kind about this," She said to both Sam and the boy, whose name she still did not know.
"Okay," She said quietly as Sam said that they should get going. She was about to get her bag, when the boy beat her to it. "Oh- you don't have to do that, it's..." but Jamila could not speak coherently anymore, because he flashed her a crooked smile. It was so dazzling that Jamila momentarily forgot how to speak.
By the time that she had regained self-control, her bags were already slung over the guy's shoulder. They were quite heavy- so she marvelled in amazement at how easily he picked the bags up. Feeling her cheeks rush with colour, she looked at the sand, before saying, "Please, let me carry my bags. You really don't need to to that,"

Sam grabbed a few bags herself and made sure everything was accounted for. Ok, lets go. She said. She gently tugged on the reins and led Dream beside her as she walked in front of the couple along the dirt path. Some monkeys jumped from tree to tree above them yelling. Sam smiled and looked up to watch for a few seconds before her gaze returned to the path ahead.
Soon the dirt path turned into brick and the huge watch tower came into view. Right behind that many cute fake adobe houses began appearing. There were hundreds of them. Sam pointed to them. The ones with the red paper on them are empty, you can choose one of them. She said. She adjusted the weight of her bags. They weren't that heavy, but of course she did pull ups and push ups and all that good stuff every night before her shower.
Sam looked at the two again. Two to a house but you two don't have to share. She said and smiled slightly.

Chase smirked a little as she stammered, then shook his head. "Seriously, don't worry about it." he insisted, shrugging his shoulders. He then indicated towards Sam on her horse and said "Shall we?"
The pair followed after her. Chace marvelled somewhat at the beautiful environment and the wildlife, but his mind was racing.... there had to be a way to make Sam jealous.... she would like him, he was determined to make it happen. He glanced at the younger girl - so naive, so easily attracted to him, and flashed her yet another smile.
As the houses slid into view, his eyes darted around, searching for the largest, nicest looking one around. At Sam's words he looked to Jamila "Well, it's up to you. I don't mind sharing." He shrugged lightly as if he didn't mind as a steady breeze ruffled his hair.

Jamila's breath caught as she realised the proposition which the guy was offering. Although she did like him, she wasn't really up to living in the same house with him. That would just get too... awkward.
Maybe if they were roomies it wouldn't be too bad, another side of Jamila's head thought. It would be cool to be near someone she knew so well. However, the more rational part of her said, "Umm... I'm not sure. I just need to think things through for the moment, but, we could always be neighbours? It would be nice to have someone I know nearby,"

Sam stopped Dream and waited for the two to decide. Once they had she would follow them to their chosen homes and she would hand them their luggage. She looked away from the two to give them privacy. Dream whinnied to some kids that ran past giggling. One waved to Sam and smiled. Hi Miss Queen! The little 12 year old said. Sam swallowed and smiled, waving back.
The little boy giggled and blushed before running off with his friend. She smirked slightly shook her head. She looked over at the couple when it seemed like they might have reached a decision.

Chace shrugged again, his voice cheery. "Yeah, neighbours sounds cool. I'm Chase by the way, sorry I didn't introduce myself earlier." He flashed her his crooked smile again, and kept his attention on her, though he had head the child call Sam "Queen".
He looked around at the houses once more, then said "Well I guess we'd better find a spot."

Sam's gaze drifted over to couple. Just to see if they had noticed what the little boy had said. She let out a breath that she hadn't known she was holding. Thankfully it looked like they didn't even notice. Sam smiled and leaned against the side of Dream gently. She closed her eyes waiting for them to hurry up. Her eyes open once more when the boy introduced himself.
Nice to meet Chace. She said. Sam adjusted her pony tail and waited for the two to lead the way to their new homes.

Jamila nodded as Chace greeted himself; his smile dazzling her once more. "Jamila," she said in reply, though not as enthousiastically. She still felt down about her mother's death. "What about that house over there? And the one next to it?" She said, poinitng to two small houses not that far from the ocean.
She liked little houses, but she did not know whether Chace did. If he didn't she could always chose another place.

Chace looked briefly at Sam as she spoke, though his slight smile was almost dismissive as his gaze turned back to Jamila. "That is a really unique name." He smiled again, and peered over at the houses she had in mind. They were tiny, but close to the waterfront, and if they were of Jamila's taste than of course he would go along with it. "They are perfect!" he exclaimed, smiling broadly once more and beginning to walk towards them.

Sam began following them as they advanced toward the cute little houses nearest the water front. She looked back at Dream and clucked quietly so he would follow. Dream snorted and walked along beside her quietly. Sam had noticed the dismissive smile that Chace had given. The little pretty boy had an attitude.
She smirked at her thought and continued to follow. She stopped right behind them and waited for them to ask for their luggage. Sam sighed quietly and looked at the sun. It was almost 3 oh clock. Wow. She had spent too much time with these two.

"You think?" Jamila said, smiling genuinly at Chace. She walked alongside Chace, her heart still beating faster than it regularly did.
Jamila thought the island was beautiful; she would give it that much. However, it still felt... empty. Perhaps that was because she was still grieving over her mother. Who knew?

Chace nodded, the smile still present as they reached the twin houses, both with a red paper on the door. "So which one would you prefer?" he asked.
In truth, the bags were starting to get heavy and he just wanted to drop them soon...

Sam gently put the bags down. She needed to get going. The Mayan Ruins had to be checked. Hopefully the cannibals were gone and hopefully she could disable any booby traps that she would find. Hey, I have to get going. There are some things that need to be checked out. I hope you enjoy the homes. She said. Sam mounted Dream and clucked to him.
She turned the horse away from the two and trotted off, his hooves making clacking sounds on the bricks. Sam hit the dirt path and went into a gallop. She hoped that all the cannibals were gone.
