Sam smiled when Chace agreed. Good, she didn't like to see him sad. She smirked and shook her head when he said that he had to raise his score up. You are such a dork! She said and chuckled. Her laughing caught short in her throat as Chace ran his hand lightly down her waist. She shivered under his touch with pleasure. Sam sighed and closed her eyes for a moment.

"Thanks!" he laughed, sarcasm in his tone. A smile wound its way onto his lips again and Sam fell silent. He saw her shiver, and watched as her eyes closed and she sighed with pleasure. He leaned in to her ear, and whispered softly "Chace 3, Sam 2." He kissed her lightly on the cheek, before running his hand down her waist once more, letting it rest on her hip.

Sam opened her eyes when Chace whispered the points. She stuck out her bottom lip and pretended to pout. No fair! She whispered. Sam stopped pouting and thought for a moment. She had an idea! Sam brushed Chace's hand off of her waist playfully. Let's see if you can rack up some points now, if you can catch me! She said and ran off. She exited the bedroom and started running down the hall. Where could she hide?

As Sam pouted, Chace laughed lightly, stroking her cheek gently with his free hand. As she brushed off his other hand, a puzzled look worked onto his face. This instantly transformed into a grin as he took chase, quite a way behind her due to the fact that she knew the temple well, and it was only his first time visiting. He turned a corner, frowning slightly as he had lost sight of her. He peered around another corner, and took a few more, laughing at his own expencse as he realised he was lost.

Sam had risked a glance behind her and saw that she had lost Chace. She smiled and slowed down a bit, listening for footsteps. She heard known. Sam jogged around the next corner and made a left at a four way intersection. She moved down that hallway and found that it was a dead end. That was when she heard foot steps. She frowned and hid in the first room she could find. It was a bedroom. Sam opened a door and found a closet, she got inside and left the door open just a crack so she could see.

Chase stepped into the bedroom, glancing quickly around but seeing no sign of Sam. He sighed, ran a hand through his hair, then turned and walked back along the corridor, truning left this time and stumbling into another room, the kitchen, attracting odd looks from the cooks. "Sorry!" he murmured, before turning and heading back the way he came, continuing straught past the bedroom and heading towards another door. He tried it - it was locked. "Hmm..." he mused to himself, turning another left and seeing just a small closet - no sign of Sam. Chace found a corner which could lead in four possible directions and glanced around, hoping to see even the slightest shadow.

Sam held her breath when she heard footsteps walk past the bedroom. But it wasn't Chace it was just a maid. She let out a sigh and slid down the back wall to a sitting position. She crossed her legs and leaned her head against the wall. Sam closed her eyes and focused on keeping her breathing quiet. She slowly opened them and strained to hear the slightest sound. Was Chace getting close? Or getting lost? The thought brought a smirk to her face just thinking about it.

Chace unknowingly passed right behind the wall where Sam was leaning. He frowned - he was growing impatient now. Sam had done this purposefully to drive him insane. He raced along the corridor and took another left, then another, spotting another door. He opened it slowly, peering around it, and still no Sam. He groaned, and closed the door maybe a little too forcefully. One more door... one more then I'm shouting her name! he thought to himself.
He decided just to try the next door along. He peered into the room, smiling widely as he saw Sam sitting cross legged against the wall. He entered the room, closing the door softly behind him, and walked over to where she was sitting.

Sam heard the door next to her room open and close with a slam. She smirked and knew it was Chace. Only he would slam the door. Then her door open. She saw Chace standing in the door and noticed his smile. She smirked and sighed.
It's about time, I had a good two hour nap before you found me. She said, chuckling. Sam watched as he walked over to her and stopped in front of her. She made no move to get up. If he wanted to be with her then he would just have to sit on the ground.

Chace laughed too now, running a hand through his hair. "Well, at least you had the chance for some rest, seeing as you didn't get much last night." He sighed lightly, knowing that she wasn't going to stand up. Instead, he crouched down beside her, him too sitting with his back against the wall, being careful not to upset his wounds. "Miss me?" he smirked.

Sam chuckled and watched as Chace ran a hand through his hair before sitting beside her. She noticed that he was careful not to hurt the wounds on his back as he leaned against the wall like her. She looked over at him and saw the smirk. Did she miss? It could be possible but they had only been apart for like ten minutes. So did she? Nah. She shook her and smiled. Not really. She said and laughed.

Chace shook his head in mock disbelief, and muttered "Shame." Internally he was a little disappointed, although her leaughter reassured him a little. He restrained a smirk, then turned to look at her, sliding closer before whispering "Not even a little bit?" His eyes bored into hers, as he reached for her hand, repeating the small circles which had led to the events of today.

Sam smiled as Chace pretended to not believe her. She turned her head toward him and laid it against the wall. She watched as he slid closer to her. That only made her smile. Sam looked into his eyes as Chace asked her something. His gaze seemed to see right through her almost. Thinking about this distracted her from what he was doing with his hand. She felt Chace's thumb making small circles on her palm once more. Sam closed her eyes and swallowed before replying. Maybe just a little bit. She said and opened her eyes once more.

Chace smiled as Sam did, continuing the circles. As she spoke, he felt triumphant, his heart leaping in his chest. She had missed him.... As he had her, though they had only been apart for about ten minutes. As she opened her eyes, he moved a little closer, sliding down the wall slightly and resting his head against her shoulder, his hand still on hers.

Sam saw the smirk and couldn't help but chuckle. She watched as Chace scooted closer to her and rested his head on her shoulder. She smiled softly and gently rested her head on his. She sighed quietly and closed her eyes. It was so quiet in here. And dark too. She liked that, too much light hurt her eyes. Of course it hurt everyone's eyes but that wasn't the point. The point was that she got to be with Chace with no one around to bother them.
