As Sam rested her head on his, Chace smiled softly continuing to rub her hands with the same gentle motion. He, too, noticed the quiet - it was so peaceful. All he could hear was Sam's soft breathing, and he felt it too as it rustled his hair. He turned his head slightly so that he could see her face, careful not to move too much, then smiled once more. She looked genuinely pleased to be there, a thought Chace loved. "So, what's the plan now then?" he whispered softly, hardly disturbing the tranquility with his voice, yet he knew that Sam would hear.

Sam felt Chace moved his head but she didn't care. She opened her eyes and found that she was practically looking into his eyes. She smiled and yawned. I don't know, I told you it was up to you, remember? She said. Sam looked toward the door when he heard footsteps. She begged that no one would come in and she sighed with relief when they walked right by without even stopping.

Chace sighed lightly, smirking anyway. "Well, my decision is.... I want you to decide. You know this place better than I do anyway, so you know all the best places to go, right?" He was sure she was going to protest, but he let his eyes bore into hers, hoping he could persuade her.

Sam lifted her head and shook it when Chace decided that she should be the one to pick. Of course, he would always do something like that. She smirked at his reason why. That makes sense after you got lost looking for me. How about the abandoned church? She asked. The abandoned church was away from everyone else and they were bound to have a lot of privacy if they went there. Which means nice little conversations without interruptions, she liked it.

Chase smirked when he saw her reaction - he had known it was coming. He then raised one brow as she spoke, and nodded a little as his cheeks flushed. "Erm, yeah sure!" He said with a smile, wondering her reasons for wanting to take him there - but there was obviously something or she wouldn't have suggested it.

Sam tilted her head to the side in curiosity at Chace's reply. Did he not want to go to the abandoned church? if he didn't she didn't mind at all. They could always go somewhere else. There were plenty of places to go. Do you not want to go there? We can go somewhere else if you want. Sam asked. She moved her head back to it's normal spot and waited for Chace to reply. He better not lie about it either.

Chace chuckled softly. "Well, I've never been there before, so sure I wanna go! And besides, I said it was up to you!" He grinned, his eyes sparkling now. Sam's reaction had just made him laugh - she was trying so hard to please him, when, only a few days ago, she absolutely hated his guts. He tilted his head back to lean it against the wall as he struggled to stop laughing.

Sam smiled when Chace said that he wanted to go since he had never been there before. She liked to show people new things and that included places on this island. Then quit laughing at me and come on! She said and chuckled. Sam stood up and yanked gently on Chace's hand to get him to stand up. They weren't going to sit there and laugh at her all day.

At Sam's laughter, Chace's own slowed a little, mainly so that he could hear what was his favourite sound in the world now. He used Sam's hand to help him up, before saying with a grin "I wasn't laughing at you as such, just your reaction!" He kept his hand wrapped around hers as they began to walk out the room, hoping she wouldn't mind.

Sam smiled when Chace didn't let go of her hand as they walked out of the room. She liked that. It was different and new, something she wasn't use to. But she liked it. She smirked and looked at Chace. (sorry)

Chace gazed back at her, partially surprised that she didn't slide her hand away, but also relieved. A soft smile curved the corners of his lips as Sam led him out of the maze of corridors and into what was now bright sunlight.

Sam led Chace through the garden and past the fish pond. She moved off the stone path that wound through the garden and headed in the jungle. She stepped over roots and stumps with ease. Soon the jungle gave way to a huge open field. In the field on top of a hill sat the old abandoned church. Sam smiled and started moving toward it. She looked back at Chace to see how he was doing.

Chase smiled lightly at their beautiful surroundings as Sam led him by the hand through gardens and jungle. As his eyes rested on the church atop the hill, his eyes widened a little in wonder - it looked so mysterious from down here. As Sam turned towards him, he smiled reassuringly, panting a little - his body systems were still not back to perfection.

Sam noticed that Chace seemed a bit tired. So she slowed down and walked beside him instead of in front of him. I can't believe you haven't been here before. She said in astonishment as they finally reached the old stone building. Sam looked at Chace and smiled. She slowly led him up some stairs and into basically the only room that hadn't fallen apart yet. Here we are! She said and smiled.

Chace smiled as Sam dropped back to walk beside him, murmuring a quick "Thanks" before walking on. At her first comment, he just laughed, then replied "Well, I haven't been here that long remember!" His eyes darted around curiously as the entered the church, taking in every detail. As they reached the top of the stairs, the crooked smile found his lips as he examined the room. It was truly remarkable - stone walls, a very high ceiling, stone floor - it looked as though it had been deserted for years, except for the footprints in the thick dust. The way the light entered through the cracks in the roof sent a pale glow throughout. "This is amazing!" he whispered, eyes wide.
