Chace held his breath as he waited for her reply, then sighed with a smile as she answered. He had been expecting a much longer delay... and wasn't certain whether or not her answer would be affirmative. He looked her deep into the eyes, then whispered "Okay then. Close your eyes."

Sam smiled softly when Chace smiled as well. He acted as if he had expected more. She smiled again and held back a chuckle. She met his gaze with her own steady one. She frowned slightly when Chace asked if she would close her eyes. Sam thought about it and then finally nodded. She closed her eyes and let out a sigh to relax herself. No need to get worked up on something that hadn't happened yet. Whatever was happening.

Chace was silent for a moment, heart thumping in his chest as he waited for her to either accept or decline. He saw her eyelids flick shut, and smiled his crooked smile, relief passing through every part of his body as he whispered "No peeking now!" He waited another moment, ensuring that she wan't trying to peek, before he leaned forwards, and softly planted his lips onto hers, one hand resting at the back of her neck.

Sam fidgeted a little when there was a momentary space of silence. She didn't like that when her eyes were closed. But if they were open then she could handle it perfectly. Well, most of the time. Just then Sam felt Chace's soft, warm lips on her own. Her eyebrows rose in surprise and she kept them close with difficulty. Sam smiled slightly and kissed Chace back. Moving a bit closer so the kiss could last longer.

Chace felt Sam move closer in to him, and he smiled through the kiss, gently parting her lips with his tongue. His one hand remained behind Sam's neck, the other now moving to rest on her waist as he gently pulled her body in closer to him. Her scent washed over him, and his own eyes closed for a moment as he became a little disorientated, yet this lasted only for a few seconds as the kiss continued.

Sam parted her lips slowly. Her waist tingled with the aftermath of a small electric shock where Chace had put his hand on her waist. Sam's stomach did a flop with excitement when he pulled her closer. She surprised herself when she practically melted in his arms. This was totally different. The first time she saw Chace she wanted nothing to do with him. Just another orphan to take to the village. Then it came to this.

Chace let his tongue touch hers lightly, circling it slowly as his heart seemed to flutter. He was completely elated - she hadn't pushed him away, hadn't objected to this. She really did like him - something he once thought he could never achieve. A soft breeze blew, and Sam's hair billowed around them, tickling his cheeks, but he still didn't break his lips away. He had never felt this way about another girl - never even been close.

Sam repeated the motion with her own tongue. She moved her right hand to rest light on the side of Chace's neck. her fingers trailed softly up his neck to tangle into his hair. The other arm circled his waist and moved her body to close in the last couple of centimeters. Sam played with a lock of Chace's hair as she continued to kiss him.

Chace moaned lightly as he felt her body press in against his, totally closing all the space between them. The hand in his hair only aroused him further as the kiss deepened. All awkwardness had definitely vanished now - he felt as though they were the only two people on the planet, and they were perfect together. He ran his fingertips gently up her side, remembering her reaction when he did that earlier, and hoping it would be repeated. He really wanted Sam to feel safe, secure, and maybe just a little aroused.

Sam's heart sped up when Chace moaned. She sighed and that accidentally broke the kiss. Her hand fell form his hand and landed at the back of his neck. Sam slowly opened her eyes and looked at Chace. She smiled softly and let out a quiet moan as a shiver of pleasure ran through her body. Why did Chace have to known some of her soft spots? Because they played a game. That thought made her smile once more.

Chace opened his own eyes as their lips broke contact, leaning his head back a few inches in case Sam had done with the kissing - he wasn't sure. He felt her body move slightly as she shivered with pleasure, and noticed her smile, and knew exactly what she was thinking. "I have to admit, you were a bit of a pro at our game. Have you played before?" His question held sarcasm, yet the crooked grin gave this away none-the-less. He loosened the grip of his arm around her waist so that she could move away if she wanted to, yet hoping that she wouldn't.

Sam looked at Chace when he asked if she had played their game before. She gave a small frown and shook her head lightly. No, remember I didn't even know what a soft spot was until you told me. She said. Sam smiled and wrapped her arms around Chace's neck. She sighed softly and nuzzled his neck, giving him a little kiss there before resting her head on his shoulder.

Chace smirked a little, nodding as he remembered his explanation to her. "Hmm yeah. Well now you definitely do." He said softly, running his fingertips lightly along her jawline before her arms were draped around his neck. He sighed in pleasure as she nuzzled his neck, tilting his head back a little and breathing softly. He then looked at her as she lay her head on his shoulder, and kissed the top of her head lightly, tracing the shape of her upper back with his fingertips.

Sam nodded and giggled. She smiled when Chace tilted his head back and sighed. She smiled when he kissed the top of her head. She then giggled and squirmed under his touch when he ran a finger across her upper back. Sam lifted her head and giggled once more. That tickles Chace! She said. She laid her head back on his shoulder again and sighed softly.

Chace couldn't help but laugh as Sam giggled almost continously. "Sorry." he murmured lightly, smirk present as he ran his fingertips across once more before chuckling again, then letting his hand rest on her lower back. He kissed her head once more, then sighed himself, tilting his head so that it just rested on Sam's, smiling as her curls tickled his face again.
